The #youth4lunghealth task force is a collaborative initiative by Nymat Global and Health Volunteers, empowering young leaders to tackle lung health challenges globally. Through a "Learn, Act, and Engage" model, participants receive expert-led training, mentorship, and networking opportunities, equipping them with the skills to drive impactful change. This task force unites government, healthcare, NGOs, and community organizations to address lung health, building a resilient generation committed to public health advocacy and action.

Youth for Lung Health- Task Force

The #youth4lunghealth task force is a dedicated cohort of young leaders committed to tackling the urgent global issue of lung health 🌍🫁. This 6-month youth leadership program, organized by Nymat Global and Health Volunteers, is designed to empower young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to navigate and address complex lung health challenges 💡💪. Through a robust "Learn, Act, and Engage" model, task force members will undergo a rigorous hybrid capacity-building program led by experts 🎓🧑‍🏫, equipping them with the tools to combat lung health issues in their countries. The task force strategically leverages the expertise and resources of diverse stakeholders to drive meaningful change 🌐🤝.


This comprehensive program includes expert-led orientations and e-courses on lung health, public health, advocacy, and project management 📚🗣️. Participants will also benefit from mentorship by experienced professionals and gain access to valuable networking opportunities with key stakeholders 🤝👥. By investing in the development of these young leaders, we are building a next-generation task force poised to make a significant, lasting impact on lung health worldwide 🌎🚀.

  • Will I get a Letter of Recommendation?
    Top-performing interns may receive a recommendation based on performance.
  • When is the Orientation?
    Orientation is scheduled for 12th July 2025 at 11:00 AM IST. Attendance is mandatory. More details about the program — including what we’ll do, how it will work, and when each part will happen — will be shared during the orientation session
  • What are the deliverables/eligibility for certification?
    ●Attendance in orientation and at least 3 weekly check-ins ●Completion of awareness posts and 1 fundraising activity ●Submission of one blog/video/reflection ●Final testimonial and feedback form ●And as decided by the Health Volunteers team by the end of the program
  • Is there any fee to join?
    No. The Youth Internship Program for Mental Health is free of cost.
  • Can I apply with my friends or team?
    Yes. All team members must register individually.
  • Can I participate if I have exams or classes?
    Yes. This is a flexible, part-time internship. Time commitment is approx. 4–5 hours per week.
  • Who can participate?
    ●Youth aged 16–28 ●All genders welcome ●Indian citizens/residents ●Must have access to a smartphone/laptop and internet ●Should be available for online engagements
  • What will I do as an intern?
    ●Participate in online workshops and campaigns ●Create awareness through, content, activities related to mental health ●Share stories, fundraise, and engage with peers ●Submit reflections and final testimonial
