Health Volunteers Intern

As a Health Volunteers Program Intern, you will play a crucial role in promoting health volunteering globally. The major objectives revolves around mobilizing volunteers from universities, colleges and workplaces to join the Health Volunteers campaigns.

You will support the team for running volunteer-driven campaigns on public health and supporting us in various domains, depending on your chosen area of expertise. This internship offers multiple roles across different domains, providing a well-rounded experience tailored to your skills and interests.

Available Internship Domains:

1. Human Resources (HR): Assist in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and policy formulation. Gain hands-on experience in managing the human capital of a dynamic organization.

2. Marketing: Contribute to digital marketing strategies, social media management, campaign development, and market research. Learn the art of promoting a nonprofit cause effectively.

3. Content Creation: Develop and curate content for blogs, newsletters, social media, and other platforms. Enhance your skills in storytelling, copywriting, and content strategy.

4. Fundraising: Support fundraising campaigns, donor relations, grant writing, and sponsorships. Gain insights into the financial backbone of nonprofit work.

5. Information Technology (IT): Work on website management, cybersecurity, data analytics, and IT support. A great opportunity for tech enthusiasts to apply their skills in a real-world setting.

6. Partnerships: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, NGOs, and government agencies. Learn the intricacies of collaboration and network building.

General Responsibilities Across All Domains:

• Mobilize young people from universities, colleges and workplaces to participate in the Health Volunteers Program.

• Assist in the coordination and execution of volunteer-driven campaigns on public health issues.

• Support the organization in digital marketing initiatives to promote the Health Volunteers Program.

• Assist in developing content for social media platforms and digital campaigns.

• Provide administrative support to the Health Volunteers Program team as needed.

• Conduct secondary data research to identify and gather evidence-based information.

• Ensure effective coordination of tasks and timely follow-ups to maintain alignment and progress within the team.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies specific to your chosen domain.

Requirements:

• Must be atleast a graduate, preferably in public health, social sciences, communications, management or a related field.

• Passionate about public health and youth empowerment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Better coordination and follow ups on tasks work

• Strong ability to coordinate tasks efficiently and ensure timely follow-ups to drive project progress and maintain alignment across teams.
